LIEBHERR has launched its new Stage V-compliant compact wheeled excavators.
The A 910 Compact Litronic and A 912 Compact Litronic wheeled excavators are the two smallest models in the manufacturer’s compact range. The A 910 Compact has an operating weight from 12,100 to 13,100kg and an engine power of 85 kW/116 hp. The A 912 Compact boasts an operating weight from 13,000 to 14,200kg and an engine power of 90 kW/122 hp.
Liebherr described the 4-cylinder in-line engine installed in both models as ‘very environmentally friendly’ with low fuel consumption, while Liebherr Power Efficiency is said to ensure optimal efficiency of the drive components in every work situation.
The exhaust emission control system combines a diesel oxidation catalyst and a diesel particulate filter with a SCR catalytic converter.
Liebherr has increased the counterweight for the A 910 and A 912. This, the company said, allows for higher lift capacities and enhanced stability.
The two excavators are available with different supports. Liebherr explained the ‘sturdy and radially guided’ stabiliser blade serves as the ‘ideal stability aid’ on soft and sandy ground thanks to the large contact area. Meanwhile on solid ground, the outriggers provide ‘optimal stability.’
The two new models have been designed with reduced tail swing for confined spaces. The tail swing is only 1,675 mm, with the front swing radius reduced by another 70mm. Optional all-wheel steering and crab steering are said to provide ‘significantly increased manoeuvrability and flexibility’.
