MARUBENI-Komatsu has announced the launch of a new range of backhoe loaders, beginning with the WB93R-8. A second backhoe will be introduced in the coming months.
The EU Stage IV-compliant models are said to provide increased efficiency and reduced fuel consumption without compromising on performance or productivity.
Benefits of the new models include Komatsu’s power shift transmission and 4-wheel steering. Front visibility is aided by a compact front bonnet and the lateral position of the exhaust pipe.
Extended service intervals, updated KOMTRAX technology and a new 7’’ LCD colour multi-function monitor with fuel consumption indications have all been described as contributing to the optimisation of total cost of ownership.
