WIRTGEN Limited is presenting a cross-section of innovative solutions for road construction, road repair and the processing of natural stone and recycled materials, with no less than 12 exhibits.
ScotPlant will mark the UK debut of the Wirtgen W 50 DCi cold milling machine, Vögele SUPER 1803-3i and SUPER 1303-3i road pavers, Hamm H13i vibratory compactor and HD+80iVV and HD13VO tandem rollers, as well as the Kleemann Mobicat MC110 Z EVO jaw crusher.
The W 50 DCi is the all-rounder in the half-metre class and excels thanks to advanced technology and a robust design combined with low operating costs.
The primary fields of application are tie-in jobs, removing pavement strips, cutting joints, precision milling around manhole covers and milling concrete to a depth of 210 mm. A powerful cold milling machine in the one-metre class, the W 100 Fi is used for rehabilitating large surfaces or for removing asphalt layers at full depth.
The milled material is loaded via the two-stage, pivoting front-loading conveyor. Both models are equipped with eco-friendly drive systems that ensure significantly reduced emission levels. The W 50 DCi and W 100 Fi are also distinguished by intelligent fully automated functions and superior ergonomic features.
The SUPER 1803-3i wheeled paver perfectly combines robust and reliable material management with a large maximum pave width of 8m and extremely high manoeuvrability.
Development of this Universal Class road paver focused to a considerable degree on the ecological, economic and ergonomic aspects.
For instance, the Vögele EcoPlus low emissions package significantly reduces fuel consumption and noise emissions.
The familiar ErgoPlus operating system has been upgraded to ErgoPlus 3 for the “Dash 3” generation, incorporating a host of additional ergonomic and functional features.
The paver operator’s console now sports a particularly large colour display that provides brilliant readability even in poor light conditions.
Additionally, the AutoSet Plus and PaveDock Assistant functions make working with the paver even easier than ever.
Minor municipal roads, service roads, combined foot and cycle paths or small to medium-sized areas – these are ideal jobs for the SUPER 1303-3i wheeled paver.
This highly advanced wheeled paver features an extremely compact design and superb manoeuvrability. It has a basic width of 1.8 m and an overall length of just 4.95 m.
This makes the Compact Class asphalt paver the ideal choice for cramped job site conditions.
Hamm is taking plenty of new models for earthwork and road construction to ScotPlant, relying without exception on eco-friendly and sustainable engine technology.
One brand new product is the H 13i vibratory compactor, a true all-rounder for earthworks with an operating weight of 13 t.
This compactor stands out through extraordinary manoeuvrability, its ability to handle steep slope angles and ease of operation.
The 8-t HD+ 80i VV tandem roller is also making its UK debut at Scotplant. This machine compacts economically, quickly creates surfaces with the utmost surface accuracy and allows clean edge processing.
The operator has an extra-large cab that enables him to concentrate on the work at hand for longer periods.
The HD 13 VO (4 t / 1.30 m), one of four new articulated tandem rollers with oscillation and vibration from Hamm’s HD CompactLine, is a pioneering development. These compact rollers now mean companies can also perform dynamic compaction on small, narrow job sites, resulting in noticeable improvements in efficiency and quality.
