GAP Hire Solutions has announced it has made a major investment in pumps and generators to enhance service capabilities across the north of Scotland.
Located in Elgin, GAP’s depots are now fully equipped with a range of pumps and power solutions to support industries including construction, agriculture, and renewable energy.
The move bolsters the company’s ability to meet the demands of the region, ensuring customers have access to the necessary equipment when they need it most.
With a multi-million-pound investment in pumps and power, the expanded fleet includes pumps ranging from 4” to 12” and generators from 20kVA to 100kVA, with larger generator requests up to 500kVA being supported by GAP’s Harthill depot.
GAP explained that in a region where challenging infrastructure and harsh weather conditions can disrupt operations, the enhanced offering ensures businesses and communities remain powered and protected. The generator range provides off-grid solutions for remote sites, while the pump range helps in managing water levels and mitigating flooding.
Mark Anderson, MD of pump, power and environmental services, said, “At GAP, we understand the critical need for pumps and power solutions, especially in regions like the north of Scotland. This investment ensures that businesses across Elgin and beyond have access to top-quality pumps and generators, keeping projects on track and communities supported, no matter the conditions.”
