CIVIL engineering contractor M.V. Kelly has snapped up its 2,000th excavator from Hitachi Construction Machinery UK (HCMUK).
Specialising in housebuilding and groundworks projects, the business also engages in larger excavations and ‘more precise’ road and sewer initiatives.
Hitachi said that thanks to the ‘versatility’ of the ZX300-7 medium excavator and the ‘precision’ provided by Leica GPS machine control, operators at the Solihull-based company are well equipped to tackle a wide range of work.
“We are incredibly proud to have reached this milestone and it is testament to the long-standing and ongoing relationship between our companies,” said John Kelly, co-founder of M.V. Kelly alongside his father, Martin.
