HITACHI Construction Machinery UK has pledged £5,000 to the Lighthouse Club, which provides mental, physical and financial wellbeing support to the construction community and their families.
David Roberts, CEO of HCMUK, said, “The Lighthouse club provides amazing support to the construction industry during the best of times, but this year their work is more invaluable than ever. The club has suffered like most through this crisis, but they continue to provide the same high quality and varied support across the country when it’s needed more than ever. That’s why it was an easy and unanimous decision by the team at Hitachi Construction Machinery UK to make this donation.”
Bill Hill, CEO of the Lighthouse Club, added, “We’d like to say a huge thank you to Hitachi for pledging an annual donation and becoming company supporters. Their pledge means that we have a predictable income to enable us to continue to provide as much pro-active support as possible to our construction community.”
