GAP Hire Solutions has announced the launch of a new trenching and shoring division.
Trenching and shoring had previously been a sub-division within the company’s non-mechanical division. However, last year GAP purchased MV Trench Support, which the firm said has ‘greatly extended its product fleet and brought an additional wealth of trenching and shoring experience’ to the hire business.
Trenching & Shoring has now become GAP’s ninth specialist division, joining Plant, Tools, Non-Mech, Lifting & TIC, Survey & Safety, Welfare, Events and Vehicle Hire.
GAP is the sole distributor of EZE Shoring equipment in the UK.
The trenching and shoring division’s product range includes trench boxes, drag boxes, backhoe boxes, trench sheets, waler systems and edge protection. GAP also has a range of products available for hire which will help put trench boxes in place.
