GAP Hire Solutions is celebrating after winning the SafeHire Event Equipment Hire Company of the Year accolade at the Hire Awards of Excellence 2019.
Iain Anderson, GAP’s joint MD, and Karen Greenshields, director of event services, welfare services and non-mechanical plant divisions, attended the London ceremony to accept the trophy, which was presented by Strictly Come Dancing star Anton du Beke and award sponsor Justin Carrigan of Plant & Civil Engineer.
GAP launched its event services division in 2014. The hire giant was also Highly Commended in the category of Catalogue of the Year. GAP’s 2019 catalogue was late last year and showcases the range of products and services available as well as commemorating its 50th anniversary.
Karen Greenshields said, “Everyone from GAP had a fantastic time, it was a great night as always. On top of that, we are ecstatic to be awarded the SafeHire Event Equipment Hire Company of the Year and receive a Highly Commended award for Catalogue of the Year. A huge well done to all involved.”
