Jon Lind

JON Lind will become CEO of the Terratech Group and Steelwrist at the start of November, succeeding Stefan Stockhaus who is stepping down after more than 20 years to transition to a new role as industrial advisor to principal owner Solix.

Stefan Stockhaus founded Steelwrist together with Markus Nilsson in 2005 and has served as the company’s CEO ever since.

Following a recruitment process, Solix has appointed Jon Lind as the new CEO of both Terratech and Steelwrist. A handover period has already started ahead of Jon taking up the position on November 1. Stefan will support Jon during a six-month transition period.

“It has been a privilege to build Steelwrist together with all the fantastic people who have joined us over the years,” Stefan Stockhaus said. “I have personally interviewed the vast majority of the people we have hired around the world, and it makes me especially proud to see the team we have become and the outstanding culture we have created together. We are honest and open with each other, we take responsibility and we make things happen. We care about each other and about our customers, and we are constantly striving to learn and improve.

“I would like to extend my warm and sincere thanks to all employees, partners and customers for your commitment and trust over the years. Together with you, we have built Steelwrist into what it is today. I feel very confident handing over to Jon. He is down-to-earth, action-oriented and humble, and I am convinced that he has the qualities required to lead Steelwrist and Terratech forward. He has my full support, and I look forward to following and contributing to the continued development in a different role.”

Jon Lind added, “I am very pleased and proud to have been entrusted with the opportunity to lead the Terratech Group and Steelwrist. Stefan and the entire team have built a strong business with a culture that I look forward to getting to know and developing further together with the employees.

“I want to start by listening and understanding what our customers need, what we do really well and where we can improve. Developing organisations with culture at the centre is something I care deeply about. Together with our employees, customers and partners, I want to continue developing our products and businesses to create even greater value for our customers.”
