YOUNG Plant Sales has been confirmed as a dealer for the Bergmann 3000 and 4000 series of dumpers and Dieci telehandlers throughout Scotland.
The brands were described as “valuable additions” to the range of products available from the Doune-based firm, which celebrates 40 years in business this year and is now part of the Molson Group.
The newly remodelled Bergmann ADT150 wheeled dumpers feature either a swivel, rear or three side tip and have optional 180° rotating seats with reversing cameras. This safety feature means operators always face the direction of travel and is said to make them well suited to industries such as tunnelling, mining and quarrying. Other benefits are described as including a load volume of 8.5 m³, the ability to work “comfortably” at high speed, and a “large, comfortable cab” with easily accessed service points.
Also available will be the 10-tonne Bergmann 4010 tracked machine with swivel or straight skip. Again a rotating seat option and cameras improves visibility and safety. The machine is said to keep a “very low ground pressure” despite its high carrying ability, stability and traction.
Export sales manager Bernd Kirschner said that Bergmann Maschinenbau GmbH looks forward to increasing sales in Scotland.
The Dieci range of telehandlers are manufactured in Italy and boast 143 different models The categories include the compact Apollo, mid-range Dedalus and Zeus, 14/17 metre Icarus, heavy lift Hercules and rotational Pegasus.
