MATHER+Stuart Power Solutions has announced expansion plans with the imminent opening of a new service centre in Norwich.
The temporary power equipment division of A-Plant said it has experienced “rapid growth” since being acquired by the hire giant two years ago. Nine new centres have since been launched, including one in Scotland earlier this year and one in the south east of England last November.
Gary Orton, director of Mather+Stuart said, “Before A-Plant acquired Mather+Stuart in 2016, we had just one branch in Wigan, Standish. Over the past two years we have been steadily growing our national network and now have nine service centres from Scotland to Southampton and Aberdeen to Avonmouth.
“Launching a tenth centre in Norwich means that we are well on our way to owning a site in every region around the country.”
The company’s expansion is evidenced by the fact its fleet has more than tripled in size to over 2,000 generators. Almost £2 million has also been invested in fuel tanks, with a further £1 million on distribution.
Gary added, “This year we will be making a multi-million pound investment in new equipment. We continually update our fleet to ensure that our customers hire reliable, safe, environmentally friendly equipment, that incorporates the latest technology.”
