THE construction equipment sector is on the road to ScotPlant 2018.
Final preparations are underway for the trade event, which returns to the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston, on Friday April 20 and Saturday April 21.
Standout machines from manufacturing giants including Liebherr, Sandvik, Volvo, JCB, Case, Komatsu, Doosan, Takeuchi, Hyundai, Kubota, Kobelco, SANY and Caterpillar will be showcased at the two-day spectacle alongside a wide range of the latest products and innovations to hit the construction equipment market.
Since our last update, Scot JCB and TDL Equipment have booked extra space at the show while it’s been confirmed that Magni telehandlers will appear at ScotPlant for the first time via new Scottish dealer Hodge Plant.
ScotPlant advertising manager Mark Griston said, “ScotPlant 2018 is well on course to be the biggest event in the exhibition’s 20-year history. From speaking to exhibitors, it’s clear there is a real thirst for this show and demand for space proves how buoyant the sector is at the moment.
“Several exhibitors have requested extra or larger stands than they’ve had previously, while we have a number of debutants lined up to appear for the first time. The show is expected to be sold out but there is still very limited space available.”
