Mecalac has made two key appointments with Paul Kimberlin being named head of sales and Ben Agar as regional business manager for central and southern Europe.
Kimberlin was previously managing director of concrete pumping business Putzmeister. He will oversee a team of regional business managers and be responsible for developing relationships internationally, growing the Mecalac distributor network and communicating brand messages.
Agar has worked with companies including AGCO Corporation and JCB. His responsibilities will include supporting compact equipment sales, driving increased volumes and improving customer satisfaction.
Both roles are based at the firm’s UK manufacturing facility in Coventry.
Paul Macpherson, sales and marketing director at Mecalac’s Coventry site said, “With excellent industry knowledge and unparalleled experience within the compact equipment marketplace, we’re confident that both Paul and Ben will be highly valuable additions to the Mecalac team – playing a key role in our ongoing programme of international growth.”
