SANDVIK Construction Mobile Crushers and Screens recently held a Dealer Conference at its new centre of excellence in Ballygawley, Northern Ireland.
The event saw dealers from all over the world join Sandvik for a series of seminars, workshops and presentations, as well as hearing about the latest developments concerning the world-leading Product Line.
The program of events consisted of an agenda of keynote sessions and workshops held at the Slieve Russell hotel in Ireland. This was followed by a product display at the new Centre of Excellence in Ballygawley, Northern Ireland.
The final day of the conference saw the guests transported to the new Centre of Excellence in Ballygawley. This impressive site is now the major hub of manufacturing for Sandvik mobile crushing and screening equipment in the UK. The guests were able to undertake a tour to fully appreciate the modern production facilities, and see the complete manufacturing process from start to finish.
Arrayed across the centre was an outstanding product display of eight machines from the market leading range of mobile equipment of jaw, cone and impact crushers, screens and scalping equipment. The display showcased some of the bestselling models from the range.
Crushers on display included the bestselling QJ341 jaw crusher, the largest in the Sandvik Premium range of tracked jaw crushers, the innovative QH331 Hydrocone and QS331 “S” type gyratory cone crushers, as well as the high performing UH440i cone crusher from the HD range of equipment. The hanging screen system, an optional feature of the QI341 Prisec™ impactor, was also showcased. The hanging screen allows customers an even greater return on investment through the facility to produce accurately sized products for immediate use.
From the range of pioneering screening solutions the new QA441 Doublescreen was a major attraction; this being the largest two deck tracked mobile screen equipped with Sandvik’s patented, world class Doublescreen. This unique system has two high velocity screens working independently to each other, offering both primary and secondary screening on one plant. Customers are able to benefit from the exceptional flexibility and massive throughput.
The Dealers were also introduced to two new additions to the Premium range to be launched later this year: the QE441 scalper and QA335 Doublescreen which utilise the very latest in screening and scalping technology.
Eugene Lyons, Global Sales Director for Sandvik Construction Mobiles, said, “We were delighted that so many of our global dealers were able to attend our conference in Ireland. This event provided the perfect platform to share our goals and vision and to be open and honest about our targets for 2015 so we can work to grow the business together.”
