H. E. Services (Plant Hire) Ltd has invested over £1 million in SANY machinery, including a significant order of STH625E electric telehandlers.
The wider order includes electric excavators, including the 1.9-tonne SY19E and 4.5-tonne SY35E.
The STH625E telehandler is described as combining compact dimensions with the lifting performance required for a wide range of construction and industrial applications. Its fully electric operation makes it suited to indoor environments and urban sites where minimising noise and exhaust emissions can be beneficial.
The machine can lift loads of up to 2,500kg to a maximum height of six metres. With an overall width of 1,850mm and a cab height of 1,920mm, it is designed to operate in restricted spaces.
The cab features heating, air conditioning, an adjustable suspension seat, and a 10-inch touchscreen display. An integrated energy recovery system is designed to improve efficiency, while the machine’s charging options support recharging between periods of use.
As construction projects increasingly consider emissions, noise and operational efficiency, H. E. Services said it is continuing to invest in equipment that gives customers greater flexibility when selecting machinery.
A spokesperson for H. E. Services (Plant Hire) Ltd said, “We’re making a significant investment in SANY machinery, with an order worth over £1 million reflecting our confidence in the brand and our commitment to providing customers with a modern, capable and diverse hire fleet. Electric machinery is an increasingly important part of that investment. We’re seeing growing interest in equipment that can help customers meet the requirements of projects in built-up residential and commercial areas, where reducing noise and emissions can be particularly beneficial.
“Our latest order includes a substantial number of SANY machines, with the new electric telehandlers sitting alongside electric excavators, including the SY19E, and other equipment. It’s about continuing to give our customers more choice while investing in machinery that meets the demands of today’s construction industry. This is part of our ongoing investment strategy, and we intend to continue expanding our electric plant offering, with further investment in fully electric SANY machinery planned for 2027.”
SANY business development director Leigh Harris added, “H. E. Services has been a valued partner of SANY for many years, and this latest investment demonstrates their confidence in both our products and our long-term vision for the future of construction equipment. The introduction of the fully electric STH625E telehandler represents an important step in helping contractors access practical zero-emission solutions without compromising on performance, reliability or productivity.
“As demand for sustainable equipment continues to grow, we’re proud to support H. E. Services in expanding their electric fleet and making this technology available to customers across the UK. This order reinforces the strength of our partnership and highlights the increasing role that electric machinery will play on construction sites in the years ahead.”
