WIRE Cranes has taken delivery of the UK’s first Liebherr LTM 1090-4.3 mobile crane.
The 90-tonne model was showcased on the Liebherr stand at Vertikal Days 2026. The four-axle machine boasts a 60-metre telescopic boom and can be equipped with a 9.5 to 16-metre double swingaway jib, providing a maximum hoist height of 76 metres and a working radius of up to 62 metres.
Compared with its predecessor, the LTM 1090-4.2, the new model offers increased lifting capacity, particularly when operating with the boom fully extended and at steep boom angles. The crane also features Liebherr’s latest LICCON3 control system, which brings enhancements including redesigned driver and crane operator cabs, larger touchscreen displays and an intuitive operating concept. Additional features such as advanced driver assistance systems and RemoteDrive preparation are designed to further enhance safety, comfort and efficiency.
