SUNBELT Rentals UK & Ireland has been awarded gold level membership by the Supply Chain Sustainability School (SCSS), reflecting its work across environmental and social sustainability and responsible business practices.
The Supply Chain Sustainability School brings together businesses from across the built environment to develop sustainability knowledge, share best practice, and provide training and resources across environmental, social and economic sustainability.
Sunbelt Rentals’ gold level membership follows a review of activity across the business aligned with its sustainability strategy, Our Planet. Evidence included carbon reduction and monitoring, depot decarbonisation, circular economy and biodiversity initiatives, responsible supply chains, and community support.
Mark Keily, health, safety & sustainability director at Sunbelt Rentals, said, “The gold level membership by the SCSS reflects the work taking place across many areas of our business and with our customers. We’re continuing to focus on practical action, from reducing our carbon footprint and decarbonising our estate to improving how we monitor our environmental impact and manage sustainability within our supply chain.”
