GGR Group has announced plans to launch the UK’s first 40-tonne capacity tracked carrier at Vertikal Days 2026.
The Croco40 offers a new option for heavy-load movement across constrained and uneven sites. The model will make its UK debut on GGR Group’s stand at Newark Showground this week. The radio remote-controlled Croco40 combines a 40,000kg load capacity with a self-levelling platform, compact dimensions and tracked mobility.
The machine also marks the launch of GGR Group’s new Croco tracked carrier range. Visitors will get a first look at the range’s future development.
Measuring 6,250mm-long and 2,460mm-wide, the Croco40 carries up to four times its own 10,000kg weight. Its platform height adjusts from 1,100mm to 1,340mm and provides longitudinal levelling of up to 8°/5° and lateral levelling of up to 5°.
GGR said that a 19° gradeability and maximum side-slope capability of 10° extend its reach across demanding ground, while the Scanreco radio remote control allows operators to choose a position with a clear view of the machine, load and route. The carrier is powered by a 105kW (141hp) Deutz Stage V engine with hydrostatic transmission.
The Croco40 tracked carrier features integrated container mounting points, designed to support the safe movement and relocation of welfare units, 20-foot shipping containers and more across rough and uneven terrain.
