DEVELON has announced the launch of the new DX300LC-9 32-tonne crawler excavator.
The model joins the Series 9 smart excavator range and offers the same combination of full electronic hydraulic (FEH) technology and integrated artificial intelligence. It joins the existing 23-tonne DX230LC-9, 26-tonne DX260LC-9, 37-tonne DX360LC-9, and 42-tonne DX400HD-9 excavators in the portfolio.
The DX300LC-9 is powered by the Develon DX08 engine providing a net output of 207 kW at 1800 rpm and a maximum torque of 1230 kgf/m at 1300 rpm. The digger has a maximum digging depth of 7,305mm and a maximum digging reach of 10,530mm. There is also a super long reach version – the DX300SLR-9 – which offers a reach that is one metre longer than the previous DX300SLR-7 model.
As well as enhanced cab lighting and safety features, Develon said the DX300LC-9 utilises the ‘best soundproofing on the market’, providing the lowest noise level of only 67 dBA in the 30-tonne segment.
