DUMFRIES-based Hire and Supplies Limited has invested in a fleet of Trime power generators.
The order comprises a line of 6kVA, 10kVA and 20kVA sets, placed with Trime UK by Hire and Supplies director David Chandler.
“We reviewed the market, however, as a company, we like to work with in-brand stables so that our engineers become accustomed to the products,” David Chandler explained. “We have moved to the Trime generators because we found the reliability of their lighting towers gave us the confidence to invest in their generators, and move away from a previous supplier.
“We currently have over 40 of their lighting towers in our fleet, and we get excellent service from the sales procedure right down to the replacement parts department.”
Hire and Supplies has branches in Dumfries, Oban and Carlisle. The business covers a large delivery area throughout the west of Scotland, Cumbria, and further afield. The firm provides a wide range of equipment from excavators and dumpers to generators and water pumps. The business also sells tools, consumables, and PPE.
Trime’s power generation products are described as well-equipped for the UK hire market. Fitted as standard, they feature an emergency stop button and a central lifting eye. They have front and side fork pockets to enhance safe manoeuvrability. The smaller sets include a trolley kit with foldaway handles. To guard against leakages and spillages, Trime sets boast a fully-bunded base.
