FINNING has announced it will bring the latest in construction technology to Hillhead following an exclusive technology preview at Caterpillar’s Malaga Demonstration & Learning Centre.
The three-day preview was attended by delegates from Finning UK & Ireland and focused on how technology can help business owners tackle challenges including the skills shortage, productivity, safety, efficiency and operational bottlenecks.
Experts from Caterpillar led five workshops that included keynotes sessions, live machine demonstrations and the chance to get hands-on with the latest machines and technology.
As part of these sessions, Caterpillar showcased its Cat command technology which provides full machine manoeuvrability from a safe distance when working in hazardous environments, removing operators from potential dangers. The manufacturer also demonstrated the latest updates to its VisionLink telematics platform which gives users real-time data around machine location, fuel usage, and utilisation, as well as the ability to monitor operational efficiency.
To help customers continue streamline operations, Finning will be bringing this technology to Hillhead 2026. During the event, Finning will not only be showcasing the latest technology on offer from Caterpillar, but will be available to discuss integrated support packages, including the deployment of digital technology features, data analysis and on-site training.
