MERLO has announced plans to showcase six machines from its construction portfolio at Hillhead 2026.
Covering multiple applications and site requirements, Merlo said the range has been developed with a ‘clear focus on comfort, safety and sustainability’.
The display will include the P27.6 PLUS compact telehandler, which boasts a 2.7‑tonne lift capacity and 5.9m lift height. Powered by a 75hp Kohler engine with hydrostatic transmission, it offers speeds of up to 40 km/h. The machine features a full‑size Merlo cab, described as the widest in its class.
Two stabilised machines will also be in attendance: the P40.13 and the P40.17PLUS, both offering a four‑tonne lift capacity and featuring in-line, front‑mounted stabilisers, boom side‑shift and chassis levelling. Compared with the standard P40.13 configuration, PLUS models benefit from a more powerful 116 hp engine, higher travel speed of up to 40 km/h and the ASCS LCD digital display fitted as standard. These upgrades make the 40.17PLUS models suited to demanding applications, while the P40.13 prioritises ‘simplicity, efficiency and rental appeal’.
Also on the stand will be the P120.10 HM, offering a 12‑tonne lift capacity and 10m reach. This heavy‑duty handler is fitted with CVT transmission, flow‑sharing hydraulics delivering 160 l/min, and Merlo’s Advanced Stability Control System (ASCS) with attachment recognition. ASCS continuously monitors operating parameters in real time, optimising stability and safety during lifting operations. An in‑cab LCD display provides operator feedback, greater customisation and machine status at a glance.
At Hillhead, Merlo will showcase a special‑livery ROTO 50.26 PLUS, powered by a Stage V 170 hp FPT engine, and offering a five‑tonne lift capacity and 26m reach. The machine is equipped as standard with dual hydraulic pumps, a tilting cab and automatic multi‑position stabiliser management, while radio remote‑control operation allows the operator to manage lifting functions from outside the cab.
Completing the line‑up is the Cingo M700TD High Tip, a compact tracked carrier with a maximum carrying capacity of up to 700kg (500kg with attachments) and a narrow overall width of approximately 75 mm. The M700TD is powered by a 12 hp Honda GX390 Stage V petrol engine. The High Tip configuration is designed to enable easy loading into skips, trailers and hoppers, while the rubber track system ensures low ground pressure and ‘excellent’ traction.
