HILLHOUSE Quarry Group has confirmed a raft of appointments and role changes designed to strengthen its commercial capability and improve service delivery for customers.
Mark Anderson has been promoted to commercial manager (east). He has over 20 years’ experience across construction, civil infrastructure and manufacturing. The move is designed to bring closer alignment between pricing, planning and execution, helping customers to improve cost control, strengthen communication, and increase confidence in delivery outcomes.
Colin Hume, meanwhile, joins from Master Builders Solutions as a senior rales representative, covering east and west Scotland. He brings experience within the concrete sector, including knowledge of mix design and admixtures. His role strengthens the support available to customers at enquiry stage and through delivery.
Elsewhere, Jamie Munro has taken responsibility for ready-mix concrete and block production in the east. His focus is on maintaining operational consistency and aligning production with customer requirements.
In the west, John Steel has been promoted to general manager of the precast concrete division. He has over 40 years’ experience within the business, with the move described as bringing significant technical knowledge and continuity to one of the group’s core manufacturing operations.
Mark Munro, MD of Hillhouse Quarry Group, said, “These changes are focused on strengthening the way we support our customers. By combining experienced operational leadership with dedicated commercial expertise, we are improving communication, responsiveness and certainty across all stages of a project. Our aim is to make it easier for customers to work with Hillhouse Group, while maintaining the quality, reliability and technical standards they expect from us.”
