WORKSHOPS designed to provide customers with the chance to sample the latest digital tools are being staged by Finning UK & Ireland.
Digital Toolbox Days invite participants to take part in demonstrations, skills training and Q&A sessions, with events being staged in different locations each month.
Applications and software being showcased include Cat Inspect, a vehicle inspection management system from Caterpillar. The paperless system, available to download as an app, enables customers to carry out digital daily walkaround inspections.
Customers can also get an insight into Caterpillar’s online parts platform, parts.cat.com. Users can search by machine model or serial number, view detailed parts diagrams, identify components, check availability and pricing, and place orders.
Telematics software VisionLink provides real time tracking, diagnostics and monitoring of machinery including driver behaviour analysis. Teams from Finning will be on hand during the workshops to demonstrate how the data can be used to identify training opportunities and schedule how assets are used.
