Bobcat to give UK debut to new compact track loader

Bobcat T650 compact track loader

BOBCAT has revealed that the first showing of the new T650 compact track loader in the UK will take place at Hillhead 2026.

The Stage V model, engineered for highly regulated markets across Europe including the UK, is built at the Bobcat plant in the Czech Republic. The T650 is powered by a 2.4-litre Bobcat engine delivering 55 kW (74 HP).

The machine boasts a vertical lift path and 1,192kg rated operating capacity, making it suited to truck loading, pallet handling, and earthmoving in confined or sensitive sites.

The T650 features a ‘robust’ steel frame, broad attachment compatibility with the proprietary Bob-Tach mounting system, optional High-Flow hydraulics, and standard Machine IQ telematics.

Thanks to the forward cab position and fully transparent door, operators always have a full view of the attachment and job site.

Katinka Kincses, Bobcat product manager for loaders, said, “The compact track loader sector is very important in the UK with the high demand for road maintenance and repair, infrastructure construction or the laying of fibre optic networks. Bobcat is very well positioned thanks to its range of models, including the new version of the T650.”

Also on display at Hillhead will be the R2-Series 1-2-tonne mini-excavator range, comprising the E16, E17z, E19 and E20z models. Features include a SmartFlow load-sensing hydraulic system with a closed-centre and flow-sharing pump powered by an upgraded engine. Bobcat explained this combination essentially provides the power on demand seen in larger excavators.

The new hydraulic system allows operators to carry out multiple functions simultaneously.
