2026 is shaping up to be an exciting year for the Mac’s Truck Group in Scotland as the business prepares to exhibit at ScotPlant for the first time.
January saw the opening of the company’s new dedicated rental depot in Balbeggie, Perthshire which is conveniently located to serve both the central belt and the Highlands.
ScotPlant highlights will include the latest FASSI F905, F1050, and F805 lorry loader cranes, which are being shown at a Scottish show for the first time. A variety of Beavertails, rigid and tractor unit crane trucks, machinery carrier trailers, and waste vehicles will also be on display.
The firm’s ‘world-first’ Volvo FH Aero with patented hidden front stabiliser legs behind the grille will also feature for the first time at a Scottish exhibition. The hidden front leg system is designed to preserve the truck’s aerodynamic profile while enabling full 360° lifting capability around the vehicle.
