AS one of Scotland’s leading construction training providers, Sibbald Training will be showcasing hands-on learning experiences at ScotPlant 2026, designed to improve safety, skills, and workforce development across the industry.
A key highlight of the stand will be the firm’s Merlo Roto telehandler. Following Sibbald’s recent investment in the rotating machine, the business is now able to deliver dedicated Roto telehandler training courses.
The model will also feature as part of an interactive demonstration area on Sibbald’s exhibition stand, where the company will be showcasing its rescue training in action. Sibbald will deliver live rescue training demonstrations throughout ScotPlant using the Gotcha Rescue Kit, in partnership with Spanset. These sessions will highlight working at height rescue procedures, allowing visitors to try out the kit for themselves.
ScotPlant attendees can also experience Sibbald Training’s Tenstar operator training simulator. The system allows both adults and younger operators the chance to develop plant operating skills in a safe, controlled environment.
And Sibbald will be inviting individuals to test their skills in a mini-excavator operator challenge. Open to attendees throughout the event, the challenge will give operators the chance to demonstrate precision, control and efficiency — with some friendly competition along the way!
