RED Rhino is set to crash into ScotPlant 2026 with its compact crushing and screening equipment.
The firm’s display will include the latest addition to the portfolio – the powerful 8000 series crusher. This model features a redesigned jaw box with unique geometry. It boasts a deeper crushing chamber than the rest of the range and a larger throw on the crankshaft, designed to improve material processing efficiency.
The jaw chamber is positioned more vertically, and the machine is choke-fed, which Red Rhono said further enhances performance. The moving jaw is cast, supported by a cast fixed jaw, contributing to overall durability and strength. The instant hydraulic adjustable jaws allow operators to modify product size without stopping the machine, while the grizzly feeder has hydraulically foldable sides for easier transport.
Designed for heavy-duty applications, the 8000 is built for demanding tasks like quarrying and large-scale demolition.
Other products being showcased at ScotPlant include the Red Rhino 4000 and 5000+ crushers, as well as the firm’s 3 Way Screener.
The 4000 is a 400mm x 170mm jaw action crusher. Instant hydraulic adjustable jaws allow output product sizes to range from 20mm up to 80mm. Dust suppression is fitted as standard, by means of fine water spray nozzles utilising standard domestic hose pressure. Red Rhino said purchasing a 4000 for small scale crushing is a cost-effective method of avoiding large muck away bills and bought in hardcore costs.
The 5000+, meanwhile, is similar to the standard 5000 but with the added feature of a vibrating feeder. This is hydraulically driven and operated by a remote- control handset. Instant hydraulic adjustable jaws allow output product sizes to range from 20mm up to 100mm. Being only 1,665mm-wide, the 5000+ can enter sites where access and space are restricted.
The Red Rhino 3 Way Screener is a self-contained plant complete with a receiving hopper, double-deck screen, Kubota three-cylinder diesel engine and three stock-piling conveyors, all mounted on a track chassis with remote control. It is designed for customers who need three screened products and suited for landscaping, golf courses, crushed rock, hard core, and beach cleaning tasks. The screened material can be separated exactly where it is needed on site. Oversize and undersize contamination can be removed to create usable finished products from waste.
