Nixon Hire to highlight modular building capabilities at ScotPlant 2026

Modular construction site accommodation

NIXON Hire will be using ScotPlant 2026 as the perfect platform to launch modular building capabilities from its new Dundee depot – a first for any of the company’s five Scottish depots.

The Dundee facility is set to officially open in May and will become a Modular Buildings Centre of Excellence in Scotland.

Existing and potential customers will have the opportunity to discuss how Nixon Hire can help them meet their ESG goals.

The firm’s stand will feature a fully operational sustainable site setup running in live conditions, centred on an eight-bay modular building alongside its largest battery storage unit to date. The new battery unit is designed for higher-load and larger-scale applications, significantly increasing capacity to support larger site setups.

A working replica of Nixon Hire’s Renewable Energy Hub will power the setup, run by its in-house technical support team.

Visitors can also experience Pulse, a new online customer portal which is the result of an 18-month development and seven-figure investment. The platform provides real-time data, diagnostics, and automated carbon reporting, allowing users to monitor financial and environmental performance and analyse trends across multiple time periods and locations.

Some of Nixon Hire’s strategic partner network  – covering hoarding, ground protection, security, lighting, fuel and cleaning – will also be represented on the stand.
