KOMATSU has introduced its next-generation bulldozers, led by the D175AX-10 which the manufacturer said sets a new benchmark for safety, efficiency, productivity and reliability in bulldozer technology.
The machine has been developed with input from customers, whose experiences, challenges and insights have shaped a dozer that Komatsu described as embodying the qualities of a ‘modern, intuitive, and high-performance’ machine.
D61EX(i)/PX(i)-25 leads the charge in the next-generation hydrostatic dozer range, paving the way for other models to follow. The model boasts a ‘revolutionary’ operator interface and completely redesigned 3.0 new-generation intelligent Machine Control (iMC).
For both models, Komatsu explained that the design team focused on customers’ environmental requirements. This focus sees ‘ultra-low’ CO2 emissions per tonne of material produced, 100% compatibility with HVO fuel, and increased fuel efficiency.
