IPAF earns award recognition for annual safety report

International Powered Access Federation collecting award

THE International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) has been recognised at the Trade Association Forum (TAF) Awards, winning Publication of the Year for its Global Safety Report 2025.

The annual report provides insights into incidents involving mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) and other powered access equipment, helping the industry better understand the causes of accidents and identify measures that can improve safety when working at height.

IPAF said a key strength of the report is its foundation in real-world data collected through IPAF’s Accident Reporting Portal, which allows companies and individuals to confidentially report powered access incidents. This data enables IPAF to analyse trends, highlight common causes of incidents, and provide practical recommendations.

“We are incredibly proud to receive the Publication of the Year award for the Global Safety Report,” said Brian Parker, head of safety & technical at IPAF. “This recognition reflects the collective effort of our members around the world who share incident data through our Accident Reporting Portal. Their contributions allow us to build a clearer picture of the risks faced by those working at height and help the entire industry learn from incidents and improve safety.”

The digital IPAF Global Safety Report 2025 is available to view online and the 2026 report will be published later this year.
