DEVELON has introduced an updated cab for its articulated dump truck (ADT) range.
The manufacturer said the new cab reflects the company’s belief that operator wellbeing is ‘fundamental’ to machine efficiency and overall performance.
Features of the update include a new 12-inch, high-resolution touchscreen monitor, providing intuitive access to machine information, settings and camera views. The large display is designed to improve clarity and ease of use.
The layout has also been optimised for ‘natural, fatigue-free’ operation, with ‘logically arranged controls and improved ergonomics’. Enhanced visibility supports safer operation.
The updated ADTs are also equipped with an auto-hold brake function, which automatically keeps the machine stationary during dumping, reducing operator workload and improving control.
A quieter cab environment, combined with climate control, aims to help operators stay focused and comfortable during long working hours. Improved cab access and safety features support safer entry and exit.
