Mac’s Truck Rental looks to drive Scottish growth with new Perth facility

Mac's Truck Rental new Perth site

MAC’S Truck Rental has opened a new facility in Perth to support Scottish customers with self-drive trucks and trailers.

The site has capacity for up to 20 specialist vehicles to be kept in stock, including tankers, beavertails, crane trucks, tippers, skip loaders, and hook loaders, alongside flatbed and plant trailers.

Mac’s Trucks said all vehicles can be deployed on the customer’s choice of either short-term flexible rental or longer-term contract hire, with the latter fully liveried to each operator’s requirements.

Sales director Jeff Wright said, “Establishing our new site in Perth is a strategic move that brings us closer to key customers working across the Highlands and Islands, while still being just an hour from Scotland’s busy central belt. This location ensures we can deliver the exceptional service our growing Scottish customer base expects – whether it’s sitting down together to plan future fleet additions or responding to a new contract win and needing a ready-built truck or trailer on the road in double quick time.”

Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the opening of the new facility in Scotland is evidence of Mac’s Truck Rental’s growth. The organisation is part of Mac’s Truck Sales Group.
