SANY is expanding its telehandler portfolio with a new a six-metre fully electric model.
The STH625e electric machine joins a line-up that already includes seven, nine, 14 and 18-metre diesel options.
The new STH625e is said to offer zero-emissions operation, reduced noise levels, and lower long-term running costs. Boasting a compact design, SANY highlighted the model’s ‘responsive handling’ and ‘robust’ lifting capacities, making it suited to indoor facilities, urban job sites, and environmentally sensitive areas.
The telehandler has a Lithium Iron Phosphate (cobalt-free) battery and offers three charging options, including both AC slow charge and DC fast charge, providing between four and eight hours run-time off a single charge.
The machine utilises the same cab presented on SANY’s larger telehandler models. It also benefits from EVI telematics and a three-year/3,000-hour warranty.
Chris Jarvis, telehandler sales manager for SANY UK, said, “The electric STH625e demonstrates our commitment to giving customers real-world solutions that meet today’s demands for cleaner, smarter and more efficient equipment.”
