RED Rhino Crushers has hailed the response to the launch of its new Electric Trommel at PlantWorx 2025.
The fully electric screening unit is designed to meet the demands of the demolition, recycling, and quarrying sectors.
Red Rhino said the innovation attracted ‘considerable attention’ from visitors throughout the exhibition. The compact, zero-emission unit features synchronised feed and drum speeds. Hook-lift compatible and lightweight, the Trommel offers two output sizes while remaining ‘easy to manoeuvre’.
“The response to seeing the Electric Trommel in action was fantastic,” said Job Winfield from Red Rhino. “Visitors were impressed by the lightweight, compact design and noted how simple and quick the mesh screen changes are. Built with the same quality and durability our customers expect from Red Rhino, it addresses a real industry need for sustainable screening equipment that maintains performance project after project.”
Also making an appearance at PlantWorx was the RR 8000 – the company’s largest crusher to date. With an 800mm x 500mm jaw aperture and outputs reaching 100 tonnes per hour, the RR 8000 aims to fill a gap in the mid-sized crusher market. Red Rhino said this product also generated ‘strong interest’ from quarrying and demolition contractors.
Job Winfield added, “Face-to-face conversations with our customers at events like PlantWorx are invaluable. We’ve built our reputation on truly understanding what the industry requires, and the enthusiasm for our new products proved we’ve delivered exactly what people have been asking for.”
