RED Rhino Crushers has announced improvements to its 5000+ jaw crusher, designed to boost crushing capacity and operational speed for demolition, construction, and skip hire operators.
The updated RR 5000+ incorporates modifications to the jaw box dynamics, adjusting the hydraulic systems to a more vertical position. This, the firm explained, delivers gains in both throughput and efficiency. With jaw plates positioned more vertically, the machine can utilise gravity to assist the crushing process, whilst upgraded hydraulics allow the machine to operate at increased intensity.
“Continuous improvement is at the heart of what we do,” said Job Winfield of Red Rhino. “By optimising the jaw plate positioning and upgrading the hydraulic system, we’ve created a machine that crushes faster and handles material more efficiently than ever before.”
The compact 5000+ combines a 500mm x 250mm jaw crusher with a hydraulically driven vibrating feeder, both controlled via wireless remote handset. Output sizes range from 20mm to 100mm, processing reinforced concrete, brick, and other aggregate materials.
Measuring 1,665mm wide, Red Rhino added that the crusher navigates restricted access sites whilst delivering cost savings by recycling waste on-site and eliminating skip hire expenses. Standard specifications include integrated dust suppression and a Kubota 25HP four-cylinder water-cooled diesel engine meeting Stage V emission standards.
“The response to the upgraded RR 5000+ has been extremely positive,” Job stated. “We’re confident these improvements will deliver real value for our customers across the construction and demolition sectors.”
