WACKER Neuson has revealed details of its latest product innovations, including the new zero-emissions EZ10e excavator.

Featuring a 1.2-tonne operating weight, the model is said to be well suited to applications with a restricted floor load, such as indoor tasks. The machine boasts a 14-kWh lithium-ion battery, enabling application times of up to eight hours possible.

Joystick control, jog-dial operating system, and adjustable armrests are designed to bring the comfort of the larger machines to the EZ10e. A green-illuminated Active Working Signal increases safety, while the zero tail design aims to provide a safe working environment in the most confined spaces, also supported by a telescopic travel gear that can be reduced from 1,100mm to 790mm, as well as a fold-over dozer blade extension.

The new ET08 tracked excavator, with an 800kg operating weight and a width of 700mm, is also designed for working in confined spaces. The ET08 is based on the 803 mini-tracked excavator.

Elsewhere, Wacker Neuson stated that the first skip switching system for wheel dumpers globally makes the ‘fast and simple’ exchanging of the skip possible and increases application options and the machine’s output. The skip switching system was initially designed for the Dual View dumper DV60 with two skips: the swivel tip skip, as well as the three-sided tipping platform with fold-down and removable side walls.

The manufacturer added that it is possible for one person to change the skip in just a few steps and without any tools. By changing the skip, users can transport both bulk material and other goods, like water containers, pallets, or construction equipment, with the dumper.

Wacker Neuson has also announced a new digital solution. EquipCare enables the centralised monitoring of machine locations, operating times, and maintenance requirements of telematics-able construction equipment and compact machines.

A new front-end ‘simplifies’ operation, and through customised functional packages, EquipCare can be tailored to different user groups. The digital provision is complemented by the Wacker Neuson app, which makes information such as operating instructions, spare parts catalogue, and instruction videos, quickly available to operators.
