SANY UK has announced the launch of the SY10U, a one-tonne class micro-excavator suited to confined and urban environments.
Built to meet growing demand for equipment in tight-access applications, the SY10U canopy machine boasts an operating weight of approximately 1,195kg, a maximum digging depth of 1,868mm, and a maximum reach at ground level of 3,539mm.
The model is powered by a Kubota engine delivering 8.8kW at 2,200 rpm. The hydraulic system is load-sensing with precision control, while the machine has a zero tail swing for safe operation against walls and in restricted spaces. A retractable undercarriage (from 745mm to 1,100mm) is designed to aid passage through narrow entry points.
SANY added that durability and serviceability were key priorities. Steel bodywork and a reinforced boom and arm are designed to ensure structural strength, while simplified ground-level service points aim to reduce downtime.

The model benefits from EVI telematics and SANY UK’s five-year/5,000-hour warranty.
The SY10U is available immediately through SANY UK’s authorised dealer network across the UK and Ireland.
