GAP Hire Solutions is investing in its fleet after concluding a deal to buy 723 new Kubota excavators.
The haul includes a variety of models such as the K008, KX016, U17, U27, U50, and KX085 diggers. The machines will be delivered throughout the 2025/26 financial year in response to what GAP described as ‘increased demand across key infrastructure and construction projects nationwide’.
All of the models are fitted with Stage V engines, ensuring compliance with the latest emissions standards and supporting customers’ sustainability goals.
David Munro, head of asset management and supply chain at GAP, said, “This investment in over 700 new Kubota excavators reflects our ongoing commitment to providing our customers with the highest quality equipment available. By continually modernising our fleet with efficient, low-emissions machinery, we’re not only supporting the productivity of our clients but also helping them meet increasingly important sustainability targets.”
Rob White, construction division manager at Kubota, added, “Our long-established relationship with GAP Hire Solutions has been built on trust, performance and service excellence, and this latest investment further reinforces the strength of that partnership.”
