WET processing solutions specialist CDE has appointed Christopher Devlin to its business development team in Scotland.
The move is designed to strengthen the firm’s footprint in the local market.
Christopher is a graduate of CDE’s internal commercial development training programme, CDE Transformer. He joined the business in 2023 as a sales support executive, focused on identifying new commercial opportunities and nurturing relationships with new and existing customers. Prior to joining CDE, Christopher worked at Tobermore, a manufacturer of paving and walling solutions.
In his new role as business development executive, CDE said Christopher will have significant input into the success of the company in the UK and Ireland, with particular focus on the Scottish market, to help businesses in the quarrying, recycling, and wastewater industries ‘maximise efficiency, reduce waste, and achieve long-term profitability’.
William Melanophy, CDE’s head of business development for UK and Ireland, said, “We’re really pleased to promote Christopher to this new role. His technical expertise paired with his personability make him an outstanding advocate and voice for CDE and our customers.”
Christopher added, “Scotland is on a transformative circular journey and is a true climate change pioneer. Its ambitious net zero emissions and zero waste strategies are closely aligned with our purpose at CDE and I’m greatly looking forward to helping position CDE as a trusted partner on the road to a more sustainable future.”
