MERLO UK has revealed that its award-winning eWorker 25.5 electric telehandler will take pride of place on the firm’s stand at Plantworx 2025.

Boasting a 2.5-tonne lift capacity, 5m lift height, and eight-hour runtime, Merlo explained that the model delivers zero-emissions, compact dimensions, and ‘whisper-quiet’ operation, making it suited to indoor, urban, low-noise zones and nighttime operations.

Merlo will also showcase a selection of compact telehandlers, including the P27.6PLUS, which offers a 2.7-tonne capacity and 6m lift height; and the TF33.7G featuring a 3.3-tonne capacity and 7m lift height.

The P40.13PLUS stabilised machine with four-tonne capacity and 13m lift height will also be in attendance. Merlo said the ‘PLUS’ denotes enhanced engine power from 75hp on the standard model to 115hp and higher road speed – from 33kph on the standard to 40kph. PLUS models also include full ASCS (Adaptive Stability Control System) for real-time safety monitoring, automatic attachment recognition, and integrated weighing.

On the high-reach rotating telehandler front, Merlo will display the ROTO 50.30SPLUS with hydraulic winch. The five-tonne capacity and 30m lift height model features a Stage V 170hp engine, 360° turret rotation, tilting cab, and multi-position stabilisers.

Merlo’s dumper solutions will also feature at Plantworx. The CINGO M700TD Hi-Tip is a ride-on high-tip tracked dumper with scissor-lift body designed to safely lift 500kg over UK-standard skips. Featuring a Stage V 12hp Honda GX390 engine, the machine is only 750mm wide and includes a vibration-proof operator footplate.

The nine-tonne DM9 dual-view dumper features 180° operator swivel seat for full visibility during travel and dumping. Merlo explained that a heavy-duty body — made from high-strength steel — offers ‘excellent’ durability, while the 180° rotating skip allows for lateral unloading.

Throughout the show, Merlo will put several machines through their paces in the demonstration zone, including the ROTO 50.35SPLUS with operator platform. Users can experience a bird’s eye view from the extendable three-person basket demonstrating height, reach, and stability in action – by invitation from the Merlo team.

The demo zone is also the place to find the P40.13. The stabilised, four-tonne, 13m model is said to be popular with housebuilders and will showcase chassis side-shift and frame levelling. Also appearing will be the CINGO M600TD-E – Merlo’s all-electric tracked dumper – and the CINGO M12.3-EVO HANDLER 400 – a ride-on tracked handler with telescopic boom.
