THE Construction Plant-hire Association (CPA) has announced a new event for the sector in the form of the CPA Gala Dinner 2025.
The black-tie event will be hosted at the St George’s Hall in Liverpool on Thursday 6th November 2025.
St George’s Hall is a Grade I listed building. Over the years, it has been used as a filming location for films and TV series including Peaky Blinders, The War of the Worlds, Tolkien, This City is Ours and House of Guinness. Ringo Starr performed on the roof as part of the ‘People’s Opening’ of Liverpool’s European Capital of Culture celebrations.
The CPA is promising an ‘unforgettable’ night of fine dining, speakers, and industry celebration, with a three-course menu prepared by a team of 5* Michelin experienced chefs.
Steve Mulholland, CPA CEO, said, “We thought it was fitting to get everyone together to celebrate what a wonderful industry we work in. There have been testing times for the sector over the last few years, and the Gala Dinner will allow us all to enjoy an evening of great company and excellent food in the stunning surroundings of St George’s Hall in the heart of Liverpool.
“The event affords the opportunity for CPA members to network with fellow CPA members, the wider industry, colleagues, the CPA Council, the CPA team and we’ll even have some celebrity guests and professional photographers on standby to take paparazzi style shots. It’s all set to be a fabulous evening and we’re looking forward to everyone joining us.”
The Master of Ceremonies will be plant hire content creator, journalist, and vlogger Peter Haddock of Content With Media. After dinner speakers will be football legend John Barnes and comedian Bobby Davro.
Standard tables of 11 can now be booked online at www.cpa.uk.net/cpa-gala-dinner-2025 at a cost of £3,000 plus VAT.
