MCHALE Plant Sales is celebrating after being named by Metso as Distributor of the Year for the second year running.
The firm, which represents Metso in the UK and Ireland, was recognised by the Finnish crushers manufacturer from a global distributor network.
First appointed Metso distributors in Ireland and Northern Ireland some 10 years ago, McHale Plant Sales‘ role was expanded in April 2023 to include the Scottish, English, and Welsh markets.
MD Tim Shanahan described the award as ‘a tribute to all within the company – in Tamworth, Edinburgh, Rathcoole, and at our headquarters in Birdhill – whose ‘round-the-clock’ commitment has been the key factor in helping us to strengthen our presence in all markets’.
Shanahan also paid tribute to customers whose belief, trust and confidence in Metso products and McHale as a business were key factors in the award win.
Last year, McHale Plant Sales was presented with a Metso ‘Best Marketing’ award, primarily in recognition of its work in promoting its appointment as UK distributors, including the establishment of administrative centres at Tamworth and Edinburgh, and the recruitment of personnel in sales, parts and technical support positions.
