MORE than 550 young athletes across the UK are tipped to benefit from GAP Hire Solutions’ ninth consecutive year of grassroots support.
The hire specialist has announced the continuation of its youth sports sponsorship initiative for the 2025/26 season.
Since its launch, the programme has provided funding to a range of teams, covering costs such as new kits, equipment, tournament entry fees, and access to training facilities. For the upcoming season, GAP is expanding its support to include a broader range of sports, with 22 teams set to benefit from the funding boost.
Douglas Gordon, group major account director at GAP, said, “There’s something special about grassroots sports, the energy, the teamwork, the sheer joy of the game. That’s what we love being part of. At GAP, we don’t just put our name on a kit, we stand behind the players, coaches and families who give it their all every game. It’s about giving young people a chance to belong and to grow. We’re proud to support that, and we can’t wait to cheer the teams on again this year.”
