Carpentry firm buys first Liebherr 43 K fast-erecting crane

Workers shake hands to mark crane purchase

MUNICH-based carpentry company Zimmerei Frank has become the first recipient of the newly developed Liebherr 43 K fast-erecting crane.

With its high hook height of 30.2 metres and compact design, the crane is suited to inner-city roof renovations and listed building projects.

The model has joined a fleet of 14 existing Liebherr cranes and succeeds the 34 K. Its increased hook height was described as a key factor in the purchasing decision.

Zimmerei Frank specialises in renovations, extensions and listed building projects. Compact solutions are essential for tight construction sites in Bavaria’s capital and the new 43 K fits the bill with its small footprint, long reach and high hook height. Its standard equipment includes the load-sway assistant Sway Control.

“Zimmerei Frank stands for quality and honest collaboration,” said Stefan Frank, owner and MD at Zimmerei Frank. “We expect the same from our suppliers. Our many years of working with Liebherr is a reflection of this.”
