WITH less than a year to go, preparations are being ramped up for ScotPlant 2026 – the largest and most important show on the calendar for Scotland’s construction equipment industry.
Following the standout success of last year’s event, which attracted almost 6,660 unique visitors and 210 exhibitors over two sun-kissed days at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston, anticipation is building for the next instalment of the long-running exhibition.
ScotPlant 2026 will take place on Friday April 24 and Saturday April 25, 2026.
As ever, the event will be THE place to see the latest machines and innovations from the world’s largest construction equipment manufacturers and their local distributors including Liebherr, Scot JCB, Takeuchi, engcon, Rototilt, LiuGong, Vermeer, and many, many more.
Renowned Scottish businesses such as Mellex Group, Forsyth of Denny, Gordons Construction Equipment, and Blue Scotland will also be back.
They will be joined by a plethora of first-time exhibitors. Debutants confirmed so far include Siloth-based Stevens Equipment Rental; Biggar’s Atlas Winch & Hoist Services; powered generator supplier BGG UK; Bristol-headquartered Whites Material Handling; tracked carrier specialist Waterbrook Machinery Group; and Elite Private Security.
In addition, Ifor Williams Trailers is returning to the exhibition for the first time since the inaugural ScotPlant in 1998!
Metso dealer McHale Plant sales has trebled the size of its stand, while suction excavator provider RSP UK has snapped up a plot almost double the size of the area the firm occupied in 2024. Rapidly growing Scottish firm The Attachment Company is also taking a larger stand in support of the business’ increased portfolio.
Mark Griston, ScotPlant sales manager, said, “Despite there still being 11 months to go, space is already limited, both in the outdoor showground and the indoor Lowland Hall. Feedback to last year’s event was phenomenal and ScotPlant 2026 is on course to be yet another unmissable occasion.”
