SCOT JCB has strengthened its presence across the north east of England after expanding its construction sales territory into Chester-le-Street and Sunderland.
Previously, the firm’s coverage extended as far south as Newcastle. With this new development, the company revealed it can offer its full range of JCB construction machinery, genuine parts, and servicing to more customers than ever before — all backed by the team at its recently upgraded Newcastle depot.
Paul Coates, regional manager for Scot JCB, said, “We’re absolutely delighted to extend our territory into Chester-le-Street and Sunderland. Customers in these areas will now benefit from market leading JCB construction equipment, reliable support, 100% customer focus, industry-leading service, and a wealth of construction experience that helps keep their businesses moving.”
The Newcastle depot recently underwent a series of upgrades to improve facilities for engineers and enhance service capacity.
Construction customers in Chester-le-Street and Sunderland will now be supported by Paul Coates (regional sales manager); Ben Givens (sales engineer); Neil Wanless and Shannon Mattimore (who will handle all parts enquiries); and Michael James (service supervisor, and his team of Scot JCB engineers).
“We’ve got a fantastic team on the ground,” said Paul. “They know the machines, they know the customers, and they’re ready to help businesses across our expanded territory get the most from their equipment.”
Scot JCB’s Newcastle depot offers new and used machinery sales, genuine JCB parts, workshop and mobile servicing for customers across a range of industries including plant hire, utilities, groundworks, housebuilding, and civil engineering.
Iain Bryant, joint MD of Scot JCB, added, “This is a fantastic opportunity for us to strengthen our presence in the north east. The team is already out on the ground meeting businesses in the new territory, and we’re looking forward to supporting even more customers with the quality of service and machinery they expect from Scot JCB.”
