New mini spider cranes launched at bauma

UNIC Cranes Europe is launching the eight-tonne tonne UNIC URW-806-3 mini spider crane at bauma 2025 this week.

The model builds on the legacy of the UNIC URW-706-2, now boasting an 8,000kg maximum lifting capacity.

This machine includes updated hydraulic tele-luffing jib, Scanreco colour screen remote control with full feedback, variable footprint system and is compatible with the new Lithium UNIC ECube system.

The new hydraulic tele-luffing jib benefits from an improved lifting capacity of 1,000kg, working length of 3.8m–7.5m (configuration dependent), 27.8m lift height and maximum working radius of 21m.

The URW-806-3 comes equipped with the new 4.3” full colour screen radio remote control. Fitted with the UNIC Variable Footprint system is said to further enhance flexibility for confined space working.

UNIC Cranes Europe has also announced the launch of the new four-tonne, all-electric, battery-powered UNIC UM445 Mini Spider Crane.

The machine boasts a main boom lifting capacity of 4,000kg, a lift height of 11m, and a working radius of 9.8m, all while delivering pick-and-carry capability.

The hydraulic tele-luffing jib further enhances the model’s capabilities with a 1,500kg lifting capacity, a 170° working range, and an extended maximum lift height of 17.5m, alongside a working radius of 15.6m.

The crane is equipped with an all new Scanreco radio remote control, featuring colour graphics and real-time data. Powered by a lithium-ion battery, the UM445 offers ‘charge while in use’ capability, low-noise operation, and zero emissions.
