BLAIRGOWRIE-based SD Clark Planthire & Groundworks has snapped up its first SANY 3.7-tonne SY35U mini-excavator.
Sold with a Rototilt RC1 RCS attachment, the model enables 360-degree rotation and tilt functionality, and is described as ‘ideal’ for a variety of groundwork applications.
The machine was purchased with an RG400 gripper unit, Rototilt Scandinavian grading bucket, 600mm Titus digging bucket, 300-450mm utility bucket, ripper tooth, and blade control.
“We are delighted to supply SD Clark Planthire & Groundworks with the SY35U and Rototilt combination,” said Richard Green, regional sales manager at SANY UK. “Due to the SY35U having the same flow rate through both its auxiliary lines, it’s allowed the customer to run the Rototilt through Aux 2 (rotation line) and still have the availability to put a hammer or other attachment on the machine through Aux 1 (hammer line).

The SY35U is the second SANY machine to join the fleet at SD Clark Planthire & Groundworks. The business previously bought a 1.9-tonne SY18C mini-excavator from the SANY Scotland direct sales team in 2024.
