LiuGong to highlight BEV and automation capabilities

CHINESE equipment manufacturer LiuGong has announced plans to demonstrate its leadership in sustainable solutions at bauma 2025 by challenging industry perceptions around Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) and advanced technology adoption.

With an expanded BEV portfolio and the debut of its new T-Series wheel loaders, LiuGong said it will highlight its commitment to innovation and application-focused solutions for the mining and demolition sectors.

Howard Dale, LiuGong’s European president, said, “It’s no secret that we have rapidly expanded our capabilities in BEV and automation technology while strengthening our presence across Europe. Some may think they’ve seen everything we have to offer, but with LiuGong, there’s always more. We are leaders in sustainable solutions, proving that innovation and electrification are not just aspirations for us but the reality that’s shaping the future of construction equipment.”

bauma 2025 will be the launchpad for the new T-Series wheel loader range. European product director Harry Mellor explained that the manufacturer has taken its global experience of wheel loader production and combined it with the insights gained from European customers.

“The T-Series proves that we listen to customers and develop machines that aim to exceed expectations,” he added. “The machines are new from the ground up and put the operator right at the heart of the design. I believe that the T-Series is a paradigm shift in wheel loaders production.”

Visitors will be able to see two new T-Series models, the 842T and 890T. These machines take their place in the line-up of 13 display machines targeting the quarrying and demolition segments.

Also on display will be the new 4280DE Battery Electric 24-tonne motor grader, which is said to establish a new standard for productivity and sustainability. The 4280DE occupies a role in LiuGong’s expanding electric portfolio, which now spans more than 12 product lines and over 40 models, including excavators, wheel loaders, mining trucks, and access equipment.

Quarrying and mining are key focus areas on the LiuGong booth. Also featured will be the new 975F excavator and nine-tonne loader, the 890T.

The manufacturer will also showcase its expertise in demolition, with specialist machines including the new 9018FE compact electric excavator, suited to indoor projects. The updated compact excavator 909ECR, with a two-piece boom displayed in an eye-catching ‘Liuzhou flowers’ decal, will also be shown. Moving up, LiuGong will showcase the 924FE, an all-electric machine with a high-rise cab, and the 933F with a straight boom and tilting cab. Completing the demolition line-up is the 995FDM with a 12-tonne pulveriser.
